Let it be known that we're not against doing something different for once. So far, we've paired drinking with ping pong. Wow. So adventurous. Now we're having an event in the DAYTIME, with SHOPPING. 

That's right... We're going a bit more liberal and leftist with the LeftBlock JunkSale at Ecoba! Organised by the one and only KinkyBlueFairy, and her partner in crime Chelle (owner of the awesome Fat Spoon cafe in Damansara Uptown), the LeftBlock JunkSale prides itself in being participated by REAL fashion bloggers, and not those just out to sell some cheap made in thailand/china/pakistan knockoffs.

WHO IS LEFTBLOCK

LEFTBLOCK was started due to our love for fashion and the desire to spread individualistic style. Their first project was a collaboration with Nike Sportswear, where they redesigned and styled the SS10 collection and threw a fashion show + party. (e.g. change a windbreaker into a cape!). 

Around mid-2010, Joyce, Jacintha and Michelle were wondering what their next step for LEFTBLOCK should be. Having always preferred unconventional fashion choices, they also started wondering where they could get clothes that they wanted to wear, but weren’t available easily. It was then they decided to make their own. Each and every piece is meticulously tailored according to their design specifications, and only a few pieces per design are made to ensure exclusivity.

(Truth be told, we’re making these clothes for ourselves, but sharing it with the rest of you too ☺ We hope you love them and spread the LEFTLBLOCK love to your friends; just as we are spreading it to you.)

Jacinta Cheng

An Interior Designer with a passion for anything creative, her blog provides as an outlet for her love in fashion and styling. Travinia has been linked on popular international fashion blogs such as Style Bubble, Am_lul and The New Black Star. She has also been featured by influential fashion street blog, Facehunter and interviewed by Hellzbellz. Now based in Melbourne, Jacinta is currently filling her teacup with more sugar . Joyce Wong
With a background in writing and photography for 6 years, Joyce wrote about fashion, travel and food for various magazines and newspapers. She then went on to become the Founder and (now former) Managing Editor of Tongue in Chic, South East Asia’s first regional fashion blog. Currently deemed as one of Malaysia’s top lifestyle female bloggers; she has been featured by The Star, NST, MTV, Channel [V], and many more. Michelle Pong
Despite having a fair share of kitchen nightmares and clothing mishaps over the years, her fanatic nature towards fashion and food only grows crazier by the minute. She shares her passion by dabbling in projects with her two biggest being Project MuffStit and Fat Spoon. Michelle co-founded Project MuffStit – a Melbourne-based guerrilla fashion site & e-shop focusing on creative/ collaborative projects for the like-minded. Now based in Kuala Lumpur, she’s realizing her dream and cooking up a storm in her new food joint, Fat Spoon, where she spreads her love for Grandma’s recipes, great coffee and vintage furniture.
